The mission of the Metroplex Society of Health-System Pharmacists is to represent its members and to provide the leadership that will enable pharmacists in organized health-care settings to extend pharmaceutical care focused on achieving positive patient outcomes and improved patient quality of life through drug therapy, and to promote the recognition of pharmacists as essential and contributing members of the patient care team

MSHP is a local component chapter of the Texas Society of Health-System Pharmacists representing institutional and organized health care pharmacy practice in the Dallas-Fort Worth and surrounding area. MSHP is an affiliate chapter of ASHP & TSHP. MSHP includes pharmacists, technicians and other healthcare professionals whose goal is to optimize pharmacy practice for the public’s benefit.
